Default Extended Warranty Qestion

I would have sworn I read a thread on here that said Subaru can buy back the extended warranty if you haven't passed the factory warranty. Is there any truth to that?

Talk to your finance department at the dealership you purchased the extended warranty. Tell them you wish to cancel and get your money back. As long as it hasn't been used, you'll get a pretty good amount if not most/all of it back.

Yes, if you haven't made use of the extended warranty, you can get a pro-rated refund.

I read through my paperwork and I don't see an issue even if there has been claims on it. It just says it can be cancelled (pro-rata) for pretty much any reason. Looks pretty simple to do? Maybe call your dealer to see what they do? Also, I have the Added Security coverage.

I sold one back, and I'm getting ready to sell another one back. You just take your added warranty info to the dealer, and they get the ball rolling !
