Default winter rims/STI offset

Ok I guess this is a 2 parter. What better time to talk about winter rims than when its 100 degrees outside right?

The first part is I'm looking for confirmation on the offset of the stock BBS on the 07 STi. I searched and someone said that it was 53 on the 05 but I just didn't know if anything had changed.

Part 2: I'm hunting a set of rims for winter use. Nothing fancy (read not ugly but not expensive) that will obviously clear the brembos. I've seen lots of talk about this or that rim will fit but they seem to be focused mostly on high priced "bling" or racing rims more than something I won't mind getting beat up in the winter. Can anybody make a suggestion?

I don't own an STi, but I know a few people who do (pre '05 mind you). Most use cheap Rota rims (don't know the model name) and Nokian WR's.

And I'm pretty sure the offset is still +53, as its been on every Impreza for the last 10+ years. It was big news when the lug pattern changed, so I think I would have heard if the offset changed.

Not every Subaru. Many are +55.
