Hey guys please bear with me and fill me in on some info.

I'm planning to flash my car with Cobbs AP for Stage II.

Can I use enginuity to edit my ECU when the cobb map is uploaded ?

Can I datalog with cobbs map uploaded ?

As you can tell im a TOTAL noob for tuning, any informative links for beginners would be appreciated too, I'm dying to begin learning.

1.) if depends which version of the cobb firmware you have running. I believe some will let you copy the tune and some lock the ecu. For example, I was able to read my ecu with an older version of the firmware, then I updated the firmware and flashed a new map, tried to read the ecu, and it wouldn't connect.

2.) You can datalog without a problem.

i really see no reason to buy an ap if you're going to use romraider to edit the maps. big waste of $700 if you buy new. buy yourself a tactrix cable and a wideband. you can buy both here for $280 (tactrix & innovate lc-1):

flash an openecu/xpt stage 1 map and start logging. the faq is at the top and you can find more info @ scoobypedia.

fill out your chapter/region and ask in the subforum for help if needed.
