Post who else only buys stuff for their cars, but not for...

anything else I do this. I am pretty cheap with everything else unless it is my car.
I will NOT buy a drink at work, or lunch (which is like $5 bux), no matter how hungry or thirsty I am, but if someone said "new turbo for your wrx, only $800" I'd buy it without thinkin twice What is wrong with me. I acutally have my GF take my credit card and go out to buy me cloths and stuff, because I cant spend money on stupid things like..cloths! Neone else have these issues

I spend a lot in general... if I ever get fired, I'm screwed! Very fotunately, I don't have a credit card... I couldn't stand having a $5k limit and not using it, ya know?

BTW, I just bought the first pair of shoes for myself since 1997 today, but in the past 3-4 months I've spent like $6k on my car. *shrug* At this rate, my girlfriend's name IS Impreza.

Hey, me too! I buy so much stuff for my car, and as you know, car stuff is faily expensive compare to clothing or food. I bag lunch which costs me about $5 / week. Actually, I don't even have to go to the office any more, so it costs almost nothing. I am not interested in clothing, so I only wear jeans and T-shirts. To make my g/f less mad, I buy her stuff occasionally. She b!tches about my spending toward my car very frequently.

First off what are these things you call "cloths" I am thinking something like an upholstery job ob your seats?
If I spend 200 or so on groceries and household crapola I am like where did allo my money go already but if I go blow 400 plus each on car good its no biggie

I used to spend every penny on my gf...but now that were not together, I have sooo much money that I HONESTLY dont know what to do with it...So, I have been saving some of it (quite a bit), and spending most on stuff for my car & gas (so i can cruise and learn stick)...OH and I cant wait for Gt3 to be released either .

I wont buy drinks for the fact that I dont want them spilling over in the Well-Designed cupholders in the rs (like mcdonalds, etc..)

If we were to spend more time in our cars, we could cut back on our home heating/air/electricity bills and plow that money into upgrades.
Being a family man, my priorities have to be child first, but my wife is convinced the WRX comes second.

Figure this. I spend more time in my car each week than I am with my girlfriend in the same week. Why wouldn't I spend more money on the car than her? I guess you can consider gas to go see her a 50/50 split between the two but that's about it As for clothes, I wear a uniform at work... 10-11 hours a day. When am I going to have time to wear clothes? I get home and fall asleep anyway. I just rationalize that I have enough clothes to wear them on only Saturday and Sunday

Hey 8, your girlfriend's name is Impreza, too? Wow, small world...I only just ordered cable TV (and internet access!) after living in my apartment for over 2 years. I still don't have long distance telephone service (well, if I don't have it I won't be tempted to use it!). I have no kitchen furniture. I haven't been clothes shopping in over a year. I buy Acme brand products :-x...I also just sign over my paychecks to various vendors and private sellers here. To hell with the cost of living, it's speed I want!

Hehehe I do the same, save up a hell of alot and then blow it on something big for my car!
Sometimes I get caught offgaurd and have to buy something to actually live! like food! man I hate having to spend my dough on stuff like food!
Then all these people keep selling stuff that I can't resist...
Built Block...tranny...rims...
I truly believe I would save alot if I take a break from I club... But I just can't

I've spent so much money on my car lately that Citibank sent me a letter telling me that they're automatically sending me a platinum card.

Yep. Well at least I'm living at home with parents (I'm 18), so I don't have to pay rent or insurance or food. But yea, all my $ goes to my car... No $ for clothes or videogames. It's all I-club's fault! I'm totally addicted to this site and I'm broke!

Well.. I spend a great portion of my money on my car, but that includes paying it off. but I also spend a lot on clothes, shoes, and other "social activities". But that all stops if I have to save up for a major car thingy purchase.

Yeah I have that problem. When it comes to spending for my car or motorcycle money is no object but when it comes to food or clothes spending that money angers me. Of course I have to spend the cash for my house and food but I'm not happy about it. The Girl friend finally got her ring so she can't say a damn thing.
