Default NEW Brake Master Cylinder Brace

NEW Brake Master Cylinder Brace For 2008-2012 WRX and STI

The PERRIN Master Cylinder Brace locks down the master cylinder preventing unwanted movement due to a weak firewall. Allowing the driver to regain maximum braking force and increased pedal stiffness.

The thin sheet metal firewall isn't able to deal with the constant forces from repeatedly applying the brakes in all conditions. Over time it begins to flex and give as the brake pedal is depressed. The PERRIN Master Cylinder Brace creates a bridge between the firewall, master cylinder and shock tower, eliminating flex in the firewall while braking.

The PERRIN Master Cylinder Brace eliminates the flex at the firewall, so you feel nothing but solid pedal feedback with every application of the brakes. Even slowing for a stop sign, the difference can immediately be felt after installation of the PERRIN Master Cylinder Brace.

The PERRIN Master Cylinder Brace is constructed of CNC Machined 6061 aluminum, and CNC formed Steel. This combination of different materials are used to add extra support compared to other systems. Making this from two CNC parts instead of a series of welded steel pieces, keeps the part extremely stiff as well as very light.

We constructed this part to bolt to three different surfaces around your shock tower. One surface runs parallel to the master cylinder, one perpendicular and another perpendicular but on a different plane. Triangulating the mounting points reduces flex even further than single plane designs.

The aluminum portion is anodized black with a bold PERRIN logo laser engraved into the upper surface. The steel section is wrinkled powder coated in your choice of three colors to match your other PERRIN parts. Perfectly combines an aesthetic improvement to your engine bay as well as braking feel!

PERRIN Performance warrants to the original purchaser, all PERRIN products to be free from defects in material and workmanship within a sixty (60) months period from the date of purchase.

Default Awesome product

I have had this on My STi for a While and I can say it is incredible, Really easy to install and you will have a WOW moment first time you hit the brakes. It does an excellent job of removing flex from the firewall and which in turn allows a much better firmer feel to the brake pedal. The older version was good and like everyone elses. This one spread the force out over a larger area so it just works better

Damn good Job Perrin, keep it up I need more goodies for My STi
