Default 2004 FXT Stg2 - help read logs please

Car: 2004 Forester XT 5MT
Mods: Catless up/down pipe, intercooler hoses, perrin aftermaf, panel filter
- I didn't remove the snorkus (the FXT has one, right?), and I haven't touched the wastegate actuator arm at all yet.

Since there doesn't seem to exist a map for the car, I took an 06 WRX Stg2 93oct map and copied/pasted the tables to start with. Did a few 3rd gear pulls. Would anyone be willing to take a look at the logs and let me know if I'm headed in the right direction?

I really appreciate any help and direction you guys can give me on this. I've previously only ever flashed OTS maps and messed with WGDC/Target Boost. Thanks in advance.

looking at your WOT logs the second one is what you wanna shoot for for reliability

you can definitely push more boost just be sure that your knock correction isnt pulling timing

11.5 afr is a safe place to be at

theres a sticky in the engine tuning and manegement forum its a guide to tuning i suggest you read it very helpful

Thanks for the reply. I've been doing a lot of reading, but I would just like a set of experienced eyes to double check my work.

I adjusted the wastegate arm 3 turns, and tried again. Target boost is 18psi, and I'm still peaking at 12. I'll try adjusting it again, but I might have a boost leak. In my experience, an intake side leak causes it to pull timing, so should I assume if a leak is present, it's on the exhaust side?

Also, I've noticed some low rpm driveability issues. The learning view shows fuel trims under 5%, so I think that's ok, but it does indicate some knock in the 2000rpm/part throttle area. Do I just pull timing from that area of the map?

Yes, just pull a little timing there. Or, there may be a little variation between actual load and indicated load due to how the injectors are scaled and AFR corrected by the MAF scale. Timing just needs to ramp down a little sooner with load. Highlight all the load values and hold the alt key and push ] a few times to increase this value evenly by 1% at a time.
