Default does the vishnu unichip = turboxs unichip

hey guys.. i did a search but i want a specific answer.

its time i get some kind of management in my car.. i keep seeing a lot of turboxs unichips for sale and hardly any vishnus. is there a reason..is one better than the other? i want one that just plugs in, and can un-plug it at any time to return to stock. (no wire splicing). i have an EBC, so would a unichip be safe with it?

someone in the past has recommended to me vishnu as the way to go because of something to do with the harness, i dont remember the exact reason.

same piece of hardware, different tuning. TXS bases their maps off TPS and vishnu does MAP (right?)

I havnt really followed the unichip saga very closely so I could be wrong. Im pretty sure COBB does TPS as well.

I'm pretty sure the chips are the same, the two company's have slightly different tuning philosophies so the maps could be signifigantly different.

The reason your seeing so many TXS chips for sale is probably due to the users wanting to switch over to TXS's new UTEC engine management system.

Vishnu uses MAP as a Load instead of tps.

TPS does work but does require that the boost is there at it's load points. if there is more boost you will run lean if less boost it will run rich.

With the SBC-ID that you run I would run Vishnu's tunned uni-chip. But yes it is the same as turboxs and cobb. Just diffrent tunning technics.

Sending you a PM.
