Post At about what RPM's do MY01 RS's have the most torque/powerband?

Just curious to see if anyone knows at what RPM's scooby has the most torque? different for each gear? thanks guys!

I get the most power in 2nd and 3rd..but then again its an auto. You can see my dynograph in my member's pic. Oh yea, its not stock.

Well, try mashing the pedal at 4K RPMs That's yer power right there...Actually, pure stock it's probably a little above that...Once you start modding it moves around a bit, but for me it's still about 4K, and dropping the hammer there really gets me going usually...

It's approximately 3200-5200 rpm for a stock 99-01 2.5RS. It should be evident that torque is falling off pretty hard above 5500 rpm.

I gotta agree with the power coming in at 4000. Put the pedal down when your sitting in 2nd or 3rd at about 4000 and you will definitely feel some torque.

just because I feel like being picky today..

on a note, its not RPM's. That would be revolutions per minute's. RPM would do fine. Unless you want to say R'sPM.. hahah

Just a technical note. My lead engineer was quick to inform me that RPM's was incorrect..

OH well, its early, dont mean to fuss..

Torque the engine produces does not rely on the gear or type of gearbox((auto or manual), therefore since a gearbox multiplies torque the most torque would be felt in first gear.
