Unhappy Crash!!

Hey Guys, I got bad news, I think I totalled MY99 scooby :-( It happened last Wednesday going home at about 11:30pm the road was wet and I was doing about 60mph on the highway. I then hit a patch of water which was like black ice. I then slid sideways right into the highway divider, hit the front, spun hit the back and stopped in the middle of the highway. Then an old lady in a Ford ran into the side. :-( I'll send pictures later.

Damn that's too bad! Hopefully the insurance company will call it totalled. Sometimes they will say they can fix it and yet its never the way it used to be. Good luck.

As long as you're one piece, considered yourself blessed. The car's just a piece of metal. You can easily have it replaced.... but not health. Take it easy.

Gambit's right...

I was hit by a young lady about 6 months ago...she was estimated at 60 or 70 and impacted my Sube on the driver's side. I was perfectly fine. The car was in the shop for 3 months.

But it could have been much worse. I guess in her case it was just another totalled Bimmer. I'm a little bitter about it, but hey, I'm alive, perfectly fine, and her mysterious whiplash (she bent over to pick up a bagel) never manifested itself.

Good luck with the car, hopefully everything goes well.
