Default 96 Legacy Outback Interior

Hey everyone,

I'm looking for interior door panels and a carpet kit for my 96 Legacy Outback. My dog decided it would be a good idea to eat the door panels, and the carpet would just be nice to replace. My interior was always well taken care of, and I'd like to bring it back to a decent condition. The panels don't have to be perfect, but I would like them to be in pretty good shape. Anyway, I feel like I've looked EVERYWHERE on the net. This forum was suggested to me from a couple of people as a possible place to ask. Thanks for looking. By the way, I live in Maui, and we hav no dealer, and only one junkyard. The junkyard all but laughed at me. Said the car was too new. John

Have you tried World dismantling? They claim to have the biggest Subaru inventory out there. http://www.subaruworld.com/ I wouldn't bother with the search function- just call them.

Another option for the carpet would be to go to a carpet store and get some from them. However you would have to do all the cutting to make it fit.

I know there have been some group buys for new carpet so you might want to check in there. However if you get OEM subaru carpet it will cost you a lot. The carpet store might be your best bet, and you will have more options to color, pattern and whatnot

Thanks to both of you for the advice. I have managed to locate OEM carpet for the rear, and brand new upholstery for all of the seats, through eBay. I'm going to try calling World Dismantling about the interior doors, and the front carpet. I appreciate the ideas.
