2002 wrx

Default gonna swap to ej257, need opinions

I have a 2002 WRX, I lost compression in #3 cyl so gonna swap to a ej257

also broke a tooth on 3rd gear. so if figure i would just get the STi RA close ratio V.6 gearset with the 4.44 final drive and 1 to 1 transfer gear

heres whats on the car so far
TXS fmic
STi injectors
walbro fuel pump
headers, uppipe, full turbo back
perrin short ram
HKS ssqv BOV
perrin fuel rails
ACT clutch
Exedy l/w flywheel
Oil catch can
Blitz sbc-id
Blitz turbo timer

would like comments and suggestions.

It would probably be cheaper to just get an entire STi 5 speed that comes with a 4.44 final drive. You'll get a good front diff with that as well, and possibly DCCD depending on which version you get. You won't have to worry about tranny failure due to incorrect installation, and your downtime will be much shorter. Gr8 Wheels, a vendor here, will be able to provide you with more info.
