Default I want to make my own grouding kit for my engine what do i need

I want to make a grounding kit for my engine not system, I was thinking of going with 8g wire. What all parts to I need like what are the names of the parts and where can I get them for the best price I was thinking walmart for the wire but the other parts Im not sure if they will have them. Ive searched and remember finding a write up on here about home made grounding kits but I couldnt find it. Thanks
