I got hooked up by vivid for a B&B exhaust which I bought on 8/10... I just called today and find out what the hell is up with my package and if I was ever going to receive an e-mail about my tracking number. I was given the excuse that UPS lost my package and they were waiting for the new part to come in and just received it today from B&B (*cough*BS*cough*). I asked for an old tracking number so that I can verify that it was lost and they said that their system overrides the old tracking numbers once they issue out new ones. (*cough some more*). I asked them were they ever going to call me about this and they said they were just about to but I called first. ( cough) I can't believe this: this is the worst service I have ever gotten by anywhere. DON'T BUY FROM THESE GUYS AGAIN! I should've listened. Sometimes it better to spend the extra dollars for the extra service...

I ordered from them four times now and have not had a problem. Actually, just one but it wasn't their fault (incompatible parts), and they are exchanging it for me and reimbusing me the shipping. I am just glad to order from a place that sends exactly what I ordered. No knock-offs or last years product. +1 for Vivid.

You sure about that? not too long ago they sent a few customers "perrin" injectors. turns out that they just chopped them in house.
ALSO they have Knocked off MANY other companies parts. mine included...

Best of luck with your exchange

Let us know how that exchange goes.

Oh, and IIRC, that "perrin" injector fiasco was even on one of their sponsored cars...

I wanted to bump this thread so everybody knows that I have left Vivid racing. I walked out. No need to get in to details. It was a mistake to take the job. I am happier now.

Two thumbs up; pleased to see at least SOMEONE has a conscience! All the very best to you and hope you remain in the Industry, there is always room for an honest player; the Import scene needs more people like you, Clark

I think I need some lifestyle gear yo. I like vivid's sponsorship scam that they ran on EvolutionM. They offered people on EvoM "sponsorship pricing" which Evan said was the same as wholesale. So I go in to vivid last week and it turns out that I was only going to get 10% off. After tax and shipping on a LOCAL pickup order it turned out to be the same price as regular sale price. They then tried to sell me a damaged exhaust to me in person and acted like they couldn't see the giant dents on the tip of the HKS hipower. I needed an exhaust and it was in stock so I just figured ok sure but then I made them open the box to see if it was all there. Good thing I opened it up or I may be stuck with 30lbs of scrap metal. I knew it was going to be BS whole time but I had to check it out just incase their sponsorship was a real deal. I wouldn't be able to feel good working for these guys. I would leave too. Dan thinks that he is god or something. Major ego all day. makes me sick. It also looks like they took too much credit on Clark's car in the Import Tuner article.

Default VividRacing. Thumbs Down

Heres my experience with Vivid Racing.com

I can officially say now that Vivid Racing has been by far the worst company I've ever delt with.
Lets start from the basics.
Late August, ordered from their website the RA gearset, Cryo Treated and all. Thier website listed the item as in stock. I called to make sure. Nope, not in stock. Fine, that's normal. Still continued with the order even tho people on NASIOC were telling me not to. I should have listened to them. My mistake. About 5 days later, I ordered full 17 pc bearing set, and 5 pc syncro set.
About 3 months go by, Evan who I've delt with promises me the gearsets are on the way. Meanwhile, you would like the non back ordered parts, the bearings and syncros would be there quicker. You thought wrong. I get the gearset, wait about another month, this is month 3, get the bearings... almost done, I'll be done in time to drive to Alb for Christmas. Boy was I wrong. December came, no syncros, that lost me money there because now I had to purchase plane tickets to Alb. Late December, I FINALLY get the syncros. This is month 5. Meanwhile, after calling Evan every week, and getting nowhere, I thought yes I'm finally done with Vivid. WRONG.
Turns out today when I had given the gearset and parts to Baca National Transmission, that 3rd gear is messed up. Appearently it's 2 thousandths of an inch off, and somethings wrong with the cut of the gear. (Some transmission talk I didn't understand). This is now month 6. Vivid still had their dck in my a$$ (figuritorly speaking)(sp? f off)... So I call Vivid today. Wierd, Evans voice mail doesn't work. I call the main number. They said Evan doesnt work with vivid anymore. Ok, So now You're handling my problem I told the rep. He said "It's out of our hands contact Rally Spec" and gave me their number. This first off is a terrible business move. I bought the parts through VIVID, they should be my point of contact and not push me off to their company they order through. Very bad business I thought. So now I've got to deal with Rally myself instead of Vivid who shipped me off to another company. First and Last time I'll EVER deal with Vivid, and I'll make sure to let NASIOC and all the other subaru websites about it.

C/N
Dont order from VividRacing.

Talked to RallySpec today, they said that Mike from Baca said that it's the main shaft that is wrong not the gear, that's why it was off. So he called Rally for me, and they are shipping me the "right" main shaft or whatever now. So I called Rally after Mike and told Rally to overnight it to me. I'd pay the shipping. So it'll be here tomorrow before 10:30am.
Then I called Vivid, and they STILL said Rally is at fault, even tho I didn't order my parts from Rally, so if Rally f's up, Vivid looks bad, not Rally, because I didn't order through Rally, I ordered through Vivid, so I told him that Vivid looks bad, and that I will make it a point to people not to do business with them. I also told him that I had Rally overnight me the part, and that they (vivid) is going to reimburse me for the shipping charges, because that's provable financial loss, court matters I believe, and that if they fail the BBB will be contacted (idle threats but what the hell), and they still said that Rally will reimburse me if the part is wrong. I told them again, I didn't order through Rally, I ordered through Vivid, no matter what Rally does Vivid still looks bad because they should be my point of contact. They say call rally.

So +1 for Rally, Dave is being incredibly helpful with getting me the right part and overnighting it here.

-3 for Vivid.

There's a reason why these guys have a sticky warning. Vivid is the most dishonest, inefficient, and over priced bunch of crooks out there. Do they have 1-2 good people? Maybe but deathrow has 1-2 guys that shouldn't be there too but that doesn't compensate. (poor analogy but you get the point)

NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH VIVID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Vivid always liked to give away "sponsorships" - and by sponsorships I mean huge window banners that said 'vividracing'.
