Sup Paulie!!!
Man if only everyone knew how OCD you really are about that car. I... (1) ...have to agree with many on the site, that your car is one of (if not the) best bugeye around. (2) ...beleive you have done what many only dream of doing, and have done it better than most have dreamed of doing. (3) ...am honored to have been a small part of your car's history. (4) ...am proud to know you as well as I do, and can call you a friend. (5) ...wish you and Dee well, and a quick 4 years in Japan. Take care! Greg ...eagerly awaits more pics. |

It took me about a week straight to convince paulie to do a spec c roof vent. Even after showing him pics of mine and telling him it was the next best thing since sliced bread he finally did it. Trust me guys Paulie will think and research a year if he has to before he will put it in his car. But that determination for perfection leads up to his car. I was honored to been able to wear my shoes in that car.

When you traded it in were there any issues with it? Did anyone get pissy about it being there?

NO!!! Not page 6 of 6 already. I wish I would have found this thread after it was finished, its just teasing me now! I cannot wait to be out of college and be able to give such attention to detail to my car as you have. You are an inspiration. You also showed me to document every mod I do to my car. But I can't wait until the next update. Keep them coming. I am now Subscribed.
PS: I agree defiantly one of the top 3 if not the top 2 cars on the site. Good Job. |

Nope not at all. They actually liked it. It was a selling point when it resold. My buddy sold me my LGT and while the customer was looking at the car he went out there and explained it to the guy and thats what sold him.

It's cool to see how all your work paid off. I seriously admire your thoroughness (and pickiness). It's the kind of thing i would do with my car, only i don't have the money on me right now.

I know I know, he he he. I'm working on it. The next update (which should be tonight) is going to be about the wheel story. I'm trying to find some never-been-posted-before pics that I had a very long time ago. They are somewhere, I just have to find them.
And to everyone else - thanks for the kind words thus far. Being over here in Japan, I miss this car like a family member, but I'm having a great time recapping this project with you, and getting to know some of NASIOC's newer members who may have not have seen this project in its early stages... - Paulie |
