my egt's are 800-1000 at idle and 14-1500 degrees on the highway. I'm thinking you have one too many zeros, wizzman. 14,000 is pretty hot.

The EGT probe was put in the up-pipe on Scooby888's car to get a reading before the turbo dumps off heat.

So far I'm at around 900 at idle and 1,300 at WOT. Plus the gauges look so purdy. |

It's OK Aaron, I'm sure I'll catch you around in the future. |

I found this I couldn't help it.
The surface of the Sun, also known as the photosphere, is relatively cool, only 10,000 degrees Fahrenheit. |

Synaptic3 is the real deal.
Thanks again guys - the car is sweet. You should have ridden in it before to see the night and day difference in the spool character.
Alignment feels very nice guys - planted, crisper, grippy, and fun again! -Jamie |

I'll be up there Monday getting corner balanced and aligned. I can't wait to feel the car after it's properly set up. Aaron is surgical with that alignment rack. .

Trevor - Aaron found that the UR upipe had a bent WG flange on the pressure side. Didn't seem like much of a leak, but the spool difference is obvious. Aaron pulled the uppipe while leaving the turbo in and undisturbed and milled the flange flat.
Ted - are you rolled? |

Yeah the guys at Synaptic are great! I trust no one more when it comes to aligning my car. They can do just about anything you need.

ive still gotta come by and have you guys recirc my EWG setup.
hopefully my stuff from Innovate comes monday (AFR gauge and a stainless bung for my new DP), so i need to add a bung for my wideband shortly after the turbo...and i want to add a flex section and plumb my atmospheric dump wastegate back into the DP. (if need be, i can bring you the wastegate, a junker turbo (as a mock up), the UR uppipe, Tial WG, and all the vband clamps...)...im just poor right now from this damned motor build....so im limited on what i can spend. |
