Thumbs up Kartboy "Hangman" exhaust hangers

Another sweet product from the Deadrick posse.

I got a set of four black "Hangman" hangers in the mail two days ago, so yesterday morning at 8:30, out of boredom, I put on my shoes and headed out for my car. Up on the jack it went (I did the left rear, since that made the most sense to me), I put on some goggles and gloves (highly recommended--messy and sharp under there), and went to work.

Realistically, this is a very simple mod to do. However the elbow grease required definitely, in my mind, raises this up from maybe a Super Easy mod to possibly a Near Intermediate level.

I followed the instructions posted on Scoobymods.com and everything was of course nicely laid-out by kastle and Peaty. There are four hangers to be replaced: midpipe, just forward of the muffler, and two in the very rear. The second one--near the front of the muffler--for me was by far the hardest to do. The angle makes it difficult to get any leverage, so it took forever for me to both get the OEM hanger *off* of the bottom mount, and to get the new one on there. I used a tube of white lithium grease to lube everything, but it still took some time, and a little coaxing with a skinny flatedge screwdriver.

It's a cheap mod though, adds a little visual appeal to the underside of the car (especially if you buy the red ones, but I wanted black), and of course stops all the swaying of the exhaust. The Deadricks have outdone themselves yet again, as if I expected any less.
