Question fog mod

Just wanted to confirm with someone who has already done this.
to bypass the hi/low beam toggle on the fogs, it appears by looking a wiring diag, the easiest way would be to ground the (RY) pin 7 from the relay in the pdc ?

They should then work anytime with the headlamps on regardless of high or low beam yes ??

workin on a 03 legacy wagon, single bulb headlamps.

There is a writeup somewhere on here for sl-i about how to do it that I followed. It has you splice into the power wire for your windshield washer pump. If I remember there was also some modification and soldering that I had to do to the relay itself. I messed with this for months and that was the only way I could finally get it to work.
