You need to snap more pics of this thing! Please?

They made metal plates for each side of the engine bay. All the recessed bumps were cut out and re-welded in, all holes were first welded. The body filler is just to smooth the final welds and body work, not used as a filler.

No more pics. I'm keeping the rest secret, just thought this was a good teaser.

I would look pretty dumb on the track with a daily driver hyundai elantra. I haven't driven this car in like a year and a half.

Labor, tuning, fabrication was all sponsored, so what are you talking about? I've got 25k just in drivetrain PARTS.

Then if you want to talk about jdm parts, wheels, interior, paint, body work, etc...

Sure you do the work yourself, that's why your **** looks terrible. My work is done by professionals. I want to see you show me a nicer engine bay when it's all said and done.

Wow D, the car is looking real good. It's inspired me to rethink the bay set up on the RSTi. Was looking to pull the motor out and redo the 2 toned bay, but after seeing a serious tuck/shave on a subaru, outside of the Aussies, I really like what you've done.

An ABS tuck would have been redic, but you just yanked the whole thing out! Looking forward to seeing the final results.

Way to think outside the standard NASIOC box.

As you can see, it's alot of work. First welding all the holes, getting rid of the bumps, brackets, battery tray, all that stuff. Then doing body work, smoothing with body filler, sanding, etc. Making sure it's smooth and not odd shaped is probably the hardest...

Good thing it's getting done by a professional that builds hot-rods and custom cars.

Jeff, if you're keeping the car gold, paint the bay gold again. I would definately re-do the body work on the bay. I think Danny did a terrible job as it looks sloppy and not smooth. You're a DIY'er, im sure you could handle it in a week or so. Get rid of those bumps and holes, smooth everything out, etc.

I would get rid of the boost selonoid on the passenger shock tower, relocate it somewhere. Maybe a reverse mount pedal assembly to delete the brake boost and master cylinders. They're soooo expensive though!

I don't want to drop $$$ on painting the whole car, and the exterior of the car is great. Danny didn't remove the engine when they painted it so thats why it looks that way in certain places and why its white behind the turbo. The wheel arches and Shock towers look great in person its all the tight and buried places that look sloppy.

If I had the money to burn I would do it all over I would ditch the Cwest front bumper and sideskirts. Paint it white, Stock front bumper with fog covers/Lip and a rear diffuser.

Im a DIY for mechanical stuff, but automotive painting scares me haha

Keep us posted on your setup!

Well, I know a certain someone who is doing this as we speak. I will keep them un-named for now. He's taught me everything I know about it so if he wants to chime in, i'll let him.

You could get tilton or wilwood pedal assembly. Both come with the master cylinders on the brake pedals, OR you could get seperate billet resoviors for your fluid and mount that anywhere.
