that would be nice, but we're not allowed to organize cruises on here any more. I was planning on putting one together this spring like last year's but it doesn't look like that is going to happen.

im here been here for quite some time. the problem is that the majority of these little "gatherings" end up being so effing lame the past few years. also why we dont have as big of a group as we once had here in yakima as far as subaru guys i know there is maybe 3 or 4 of us that that been in it since like 01/02, everyone elese has moved on.

I grew up in Yakima (West Valley actually), had to wait until I moved to the wet side til I bought my first WRX. I do agree the cops in Yakima can be difficult to work with. When I lived in Yakima, I was much more into the muscle car scene. I got chased out of a lot of parking lots, but we would work with a business (like McDonalds on 40th) to let us have meets there. I'll look you guys up next time I'm in town.

They don't shoot enough for it be effective population control. When you kill one a week, but have like 5 kids a week, you aren't really getting anywhere.

Oh well, I only have to be here maybe one month out of the year.

I say give them automatic weapons, put them in a big field, and say "go"

A friend of mine was killed at a 7-Eleven in Yakima by some punk ass banger, shot in the face as an initiation. I know that it's the thing to say that the gangs are just wannbe's in Yakima, but they are still there.

um i actually deal with gang members on a daily basis. we actually have roughly 18 main gangs in yakima county and then there are branch offs of those.

As far as bigger cities go, you are right, most will have at least one. However like drifterx said Yakima county has 18 main gangs. That is no joke. There is no need to be scared of them, but you also have to be smart. I wouldn't call them a joke, I would call them a serious problem and nuisance.
