Another little update to my FXT. Well it was necessary anyway. As some of you know I used bunch of parts off my 06STi when I lost it including my APS 3” TBC which I love to death but if you use impreza exhaust on FXT you end up little bit short … well about 3” short. I thought it will be ok to drive like that but not really. Last week in this blazing hot weather 100+ my bumper just give up and I burn hole on the bottom of my bumper. So I lift the car inspect what can be done and this is result.

Friday I bought 1ft ($25) 2.5” polished stainless steel tube at our local custom exhaust shop and cut it to desire length. In my case 3.5” Than I cut both hangers and tip… yeah I have mixed feeling cutting my exhaust. After that my Friend weld middle piece than I place exhaust on the car attach both hangers to extended KB hangers than I place exhaust exactly where I want and with old rugs spaced out tip from bumper and than re-weld those hangers. Final product was perfect. Tip is exactly in the middle making enough space for SUBTLE CF bumper shield which will cover burned bumper and it’s already in the mail. I have to also mention this thing not just make my car look better but also 100% more quiet inside than before. Before tip was under the car and bc of the nature of the car sound was amplified and driving long distance was real pain. Once I put Subtle CF shield I will snap few more pictures of the final transformation.

I need to take off my mudflaps as they're bugging me. I really want the JDM spats, front and rear (not the entire side-skirts thou)

So I got home and my package was already at my house and that's impressive since I order this heat shield Friday morning and if I understand right SUBTLE is in CA and I live in NC, anyway I couldn’t wait and I have to put it on right away. Fitment is perfect and my bumper looks again normal.

I like the stance and the gold BBS wheels...I may have to break down and get a set, or repaint the wheels on mine...What size tires are you running with those wheels? Also like the no orange on the front side marker lights.

(I agree with not quoting every pic)

Picture of mine, though not quite the same angle...

Looks like Wintershredder's running either WRX struts/springs or possibly STI struts/springs. I am running WRX wagon struts/springs...

Sorry for the late reply.

It is 04' STi Struts and springs with a Paranoid Fab 3/8" Saggy Butt Spacer. I have 06' STi aluminum control arms, Cusco Adjustable Lateral Links, Kartboy endlinks, and a couple sway bars sitting in the garage waiting to go on.

The tires are a 225/45/17 on both my Gold BBS's and Enkei RPF1's.
