So, I recently purchased an older (maybe 10 years old) LL Bean Gore Tex parka at IME on consignment. When I checked it out in the store, everything was solid. The jacket was good, and the price asked was reasonable. I have been looking for a good hardshell for a while for ski touring and winter hiking.
I got the jacket home, washed it in Tech Wash and when I pulled it out, noticed much of the seam tape had peeled away. Before washing, the seam tape had seemed adhered securely to the inside of the jacket.
I have dealt with LL Bean in the past and their customer service has been top notch. The return policy is phenomenal. (

Now, I have the moral dilema of to send it back or not. I can't return it to IME. I am unsatisfied that the tape is peeling away from the seams, but I don't know if it's Bean's fault at this in the game.
Feelings? Ideas? Should I just send it back for a new one?
