Default Alignment & Cornerbalance, Tire Mounting & Balancing, and Fender Rolling Services

IAG provides wheel to tire mounting and balancing along with precision alignments. Why do we say precision? First, our facility features a state of the art Hunter RX Scissor Lift matched to Hunter's HawkEye High Definition Digital Imaging Wheel Alignment System. Second, we take the extra time to tweak your vehicle's specs - This includes adding the driver's weight to the vehicle on the rack and factoring in your specific driving habits. Other service shops simply align the vehicle to general specifications, without driver weight, this increases tire wear and poor handling characteristics.

IAG makes sure that your alignment has matching specs left-to-right. If you desire -1º camber front, than you will have -1º front right and front left. IAG is not a shop that sets the toe and lets it go, IAG provides custom alignments for auto-x, road race or even aggressive wheel fitments. IAG stocks a number of camber bolts, kits and suspension components to achieve an alignment that fits your needs. All our alignments include a printed specification sheet and explanation of the alignment.

IAG also offers corner balancing for vehicles equipped with coilover suspension. While on our alignment rack we will dial in the height of the coil over across all four corners until an equal weight percentage is achieved. Our corner balance equipment features adjustable height pads and is laser leveled regularly to achieve consistent and accurate results. Print outs of the corner balancing is provided to each customer showing total vehicle weight, corner weight and weight distribution percentages.

IAG also provides fender rolling for aggressive wheel and tire fitments. We can provide you with a simple fender roll to fit a larger tire size or create a roll and pull to clear extreme tire and wheel fitments.

IAG mounts tires up to a 34” diameter and will install stretched fitments as well. Our Hunter Auto34 mounting machine features a plastic mounting head so that no metal comes in contact with the wheel surface. IAG takes great care with the wheels your vehicle is equipped, or enhanced with whether OEM or ADVAN your wheel will receive the highest care and consideration during the mounting and balancing process.

IAG road tests all vehicles receiving alignment and tire balancing services to assure we achieve an excellent result.
Our Alignment System is capable of aligning: Subaru, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Toyota, BMW, Audi, VW and other makes call for more information.

Tire Mounting & Balancing

IAG Performance has two of the most advanced Hunter machines used for tire mounting and balancing in the United States. The Hunter Auto34 tire mounting machine can handle the stiffest sidewalls with ease even up to 34" wheels. We mated that machine to the Hunter GSP9700 Road Force Balancer which measures radial and lateral tire forces and solves ride and handling problems that other balancers and wheel aligners cannot fix.

Hunter’s GSP9700 is endorsed and recommended by vehicle manufacturers and proven by thousands of repair facilities worldwide as the industry standard in...
  • Wheel Balancing
  • Tire Road Force and
    Rim Eccentricity Measurement
  • Tire Pull Lateral Force Measurement
Benefits of the GSP9700’s “Three-In-One” Diagnostic Repair Capability:

Solves Vibration Problems Balancers Can’t Fix
Detects non-balance, radial-force-related problems associated with:

  • Tire uniformity.
  • Tire and rim runout.
  • Wheel-to-balancer mounting error.
  • Improper bead seating of tire to rim.

Faster Troubleshooting & Repair
Quickly calculates the contributions of the rim and tire to radial vibration problems and presents repair instructions.

Identifies Potential Vehicle Pull or Drift Problems
The optional StraightTrak® LFM** feature measures lateral tire force, then applies that information to the set of tires, providing multiple placement choices to eliminate or minimize pull problems – an otherwise unfixable vehicle complaint during alignment service.

Dramatically Improves Ride Quality & Customer Satisfaction
Duplicates vibration measurement and tire/wheel matching methods previously used only by vehicle manufacturers to provide that “new car ride.”

Fender Rolling Services

IAG Performance provides fender rolling and pulling services for all Subaru models including the WRX, STI, Forester XT and Legacy.

This service is required for mild to aggressive wheel fitments that require fender or rear quarter panel clearance for larger wheel and tire combinations. Rolling the fenders is often used for slightly larger tires or wheel widths. Pulling the fenders is extreme and requires in many cases grinding the fender material as well as pulling it outward. Most pulls provide a .25”-.50” of fender clearance, but some pulls can provide up to an additional 1” of fender clearance.

To complete a fender roll or pulling process IAG also offers custom alignments that can provide additional negative camber to further aid fender clearance.

About the process:
The wheels must be dismounted from the vehicle, the fender rolling tool mounts to the hub. The panel is heated well beyond the century mark and checked with laser temp gun (best way to try and prevent paint cracking). The panel is slowly manipulated into the desired shape while using consistent heat. The wheel is remounted and checked for clearance, in some cases the suspension height and or camber is adjusted.

Aggressive pulls on 2005-2007 STi (with rear fender flares) may pop the rear flares. When this happens, we use a body bonding agent to reattach the flare. This will require that the car be left overnight. For 2002-2007 WRX and 2004 STi's that do not have factory flares, flares and rear 05-07 STI bumper can be purchased and added to vehicles desiring extremely aggressive rolling and pulling on the rear fenders. Call for details.

Will IAG roll or pull other makes of cars BMW, NISSAN etc.?
Yes, on a case by case basis. Give us a call, let us know the application, the extent of the roll or pull and we will see if we can be of service to you.

Call 410-840-3555 for more information, appointment and pricing.
