And no jack stands with factory jack?? yikes. Unless I'm missing them.


Theres always a jackstand troll haha. Not saying I haven't jacked it up real quick and just slid under there. Never for an oil change though.

I usually use a screwdriver and hammer to tap a hole into the bottom of the old filter to drain out some of the oil. Although I still seem to get my hands dirty when taking the filter off....

I don't have one of those oil wrenches or whatever they are called. I tapped the screw driver with the hammer into the filter to unscrew it. It works.

I used to slip under the car really quick to check things out using just the factory jack on my RX-7 until it collapsed one day while I was jacking the car up. I discovered that the "light weight" aluminum jack that came with the car had plastic threads! That was like 12 years ago and have not done it since lol
