This is the one I have... but I put a solar kit on it, with a tv, and a freedom grille setup.

I tow it to the campgrounds no problem with my jeep.

with a little work, this could be offroad-worthy. It's also fairly in-expensive and useful for LOTS of other stuff too, compared to a tear-drop.

Going to pick up a 2000 Cherokee sport 2d 4x4 on saturday. 118k miles for 2300. Pretty smokin deal if you ask me. Guy describes it as very clean.

I know this is a total cross post but I could really use a hand from all the jeep (and offroad) nuts in here.

I made it to the finals to win a 2012 Jeep Wrangler as part of a Facebook contest that Jeep (official) is putting on.

Sitting in 2nd place right now, and I need a bunch of votes to put me over the top so I can win the thing.

So if you guys would be willing to lend a hand would really appreciate it.

Just go here.

https://apps.facebook.com/jeepmoment.../927589/null/4

CLick the orange "LOVE IT" button below the picture
Follow the steps.
And thats pretty much it.

The contest ends Sunday and you can vote once a day for me.

As a side note if you leave me a comment on that page that would be awesome too since it makes me more visible.

Oh and if you know anyone else who would be willing to put a few clicks in for me that would be

THANKS EVERYONE!

HAHAH thanks man. Its official Jeep at least, and I have never gotten spam from them.

Liking Jeep on there is a good thing They give away Wranglers all the time. I think there are two other ones up for grabs on their page at the moment. A Modern Warfare 3 JK and a Ice Edition Jk...

my buddy ditched his old 90's wrangler and went in on an 08 wrangler sahara with low miles for a deal. i'm pretty amazed at how well it handled everything stock, i can only imagine what the new '12s are doing with that extra power.

we did some night navigating down near our hometown on some familiar trails in southern california.

Apparently "very clean" means left front fender flare screwed on with drywall screws, the left rear flare flapping in the breeze, exhaust cut after the cat, and worst of all a ****ty maaco paint job where they didnt even bother to remove the trim or decals.

pass. Just gotta keep waiting for my craigslist rss to email me some good deals.

the pentastars power is all in the upper part of the bandwidth. its great for merging on the freeway but offroad its kinda worthless. its torque levels are around the same in the lower range as the 3.8 according to some dynos a couple of jeep type vendors have done.

not saying i wouldnt want one still. i want so badly to do a hemi swap, but thats much, MUCH farther down the road.

After driving the 2012, I found the auto much better than the manual. The manual wasn't as fun as I thought it would be, while the auto seemed to shift much smoother. The 3.8 never had a problem off road, but it can be quite annoying tryingto pass at highway speeds.
