Default Short Shifter

Hey,

When i bought my WRX it already came with a short shifter. I was just wondering if there is anything missing? Its pretty noisy and I can hear lots of sounds. Someone was telling me to replace the metal washers with rubber washers? Any help with what i should change or whats missing would be great

Ive put the pics of what it looks like at this link:

Thanks!

Seems like they gave you plenty of advice on the other forum?

If there are metal washers in there...you can switch them...the stock setups do use the polyethylene type washers that keep it snug and dampen vibration

Oh true, sorry about the pic. Ill upload it to imageshack or something.

Thanks for the info on the washers. I think the metal washers might be causing the issue then. Rubber would proberly work alot better.
