Thanks. This is exactly what I figured. Just found out it was "off" of a legacy and he's the 2nd owner. So he doesn't know much about wheels.

Okay. I assume the specs are all the same? Any chance you can get us a weight?

I may be able to weigh them when I changed for winter. It'll be approximate as the Ecsta SPTs on there aren't at 100% tread.

But otherwise, yes. 16x6.5, I believe it's +53 (probably the same offset as the 16" WRX wheels)

Default 16x6.5 2013 legacy steel wheel 22 lbs

Please add this to the list.

I weighed wheel and tire at 45 lbs. Tires weigh 23 lbs according to tirerack, so I'd put the 16x6.5 steel wheels at 22 lbs.

I don't like to interpolate the wheel weight that way. Too much margin for error. For now I'll put it as "estimated."

I could use a photo of that 2013 Legacy steel wheel, by the way.

Unhappy My new BRZ wheels wont fit on my WRX!?

Hi, I could use some help!

I recently purchased some 2013 BRZ (and FR-S) wheels for my WRX before I realized they wouldn' fit-on over my upgraded 4 pot front brakes. I figure I could buy some spacers but I really don't want to space my tires outs at all. Anyone have any suggestions?

If I must use a spacer, what's the slimest spacer I could use?

The BRZ wheels have the following specs according to this thread
Size: 17x7.0"
Offset: +48

Thanks

This might sound stupid but why does Subaru do all the switching between 5x100 and 5x114 throughout the years? That just makes changing wheels a pain in the ass. Especially between the WRX and STi. Those should atleast be interchangeable, IMO

I didn't see anything on the current STI.

If I'm not mistaken, aren't the 2013's a 18 x 8.5 with a 5x114.3 (55 offset)?

Hey guys, I hope this is the correct spot. I'm looking at new summer wheels for my 02 wrx(bone stock suspension, with no plans to lower the car) would I be able to use a 17x7 wheel running the oem option 225/45/17 without issues rubbing(using the oem wheel offset) or with the speedo being off(my car came with the 205/55/16) I'm in the very beginning of wheel shopping so I'm trying to get all the info I can about my options

Again I apologize if this is the wrong spot. Thanks

Yes, you'll be fine. The speedo will be minimally off, you won't even notice. My car came stock with the same size wheel and tire as you and I run 17x7.5 in the summer with 225/45/17 and have no issues at all. My car is lowered a bit as well and I'm still good to go.

Not sure anyone answered the question about these wheels. Even though it's from a while ago, I figured since I bought these for my DD wagon I'd post up the info anyways!

Stock tire size ran 195/60 R15. Wheels are 5x100.

So you didn't read this thread first, I guess.

Other than spacers? Sell 'em. Or downgrade your brakes to the older WRX style. I'm sure you could get plenty of volunteers to trade straight across.

How about you do a little work and then come back and tell us? Try stacking some washers on top of the studs until the wheel clears. (We use painter's tape on the caliper so it doesn't get all banged up.) When you get enough clearance, measure the height of your washer stack. That's how much spacer you need.[/quote]

It's not switching back and forth. Since 1993, all Impreza variants have been 5x100, EXCEPT the 2005+ STI. Because of the large amount of power and grip that car has, stronger hubs were needed; hence the larger bolt circle.

2013 STI wheel options carry over from previous years. Sedans get Enkei wheels standard; Limited sedans get BBS. Hatches all get BBS.

You are mistaken. 2013 STI, like previous STI since 2008, gets 18x8.5" wheels. 2013 WRX, like previous WRX since 2011, gets 17x8" wheels.

This is not the correct spot. This thread is for OEM wheel specs only, not for fitment questions.
