The whole point of the Ford 1 liter turbo is to gain MPG, sport bike engines are not known for their fuel efficiency. You put a liter sport bike engine in a car and it would get horrible gas mileage. Sport bike motors are awesome but there is a reason why a off the self technology is not being used in the automotive field, it does not work well.

At 53 seconds you can clearly see it is not the timing belt. It is its own belt.
