Default Exhaust lean or rich?

Does a full exhaust cause a car to run rich or lean or neither?

Theoretically it can adversely effect fueling based on changing responce time of O2 sensors... However a tune is required on 03+ WRX/STi's due to boost control and CL/OL transition issues..... NOT whether or not the car will run lean/rich.

If your car has a MAF sensor, then exhaust changes shouldn't affect the mixture.

In theory, anyway. Practice doesn't always match theory.

I dunno. Best way to find out would be to make some data logs and see what they say.

I don't know how accurate the stock O2 sensor is on naturally aspirated Subarus, but it might be possible to get a rough idea just from looking at the data.
