When you park alone and then come out and find someone parked beside you. And you will walk to the passenger side of the car first and squat to check for dings.

When your check your oil Friday night and it's at the perfect level. Autocross on Saturday aka drive the hell out of it. Check your oil Monday morning before your commute and you are in desperate need of oil. Like oil level is at the twist of the dipstick!... Should I be concerned?! I was in boost the majority of the day. Double runs and all freeway driving there and back.

When you get to the gas station and all they have left is premium because of hurricane Sandy, but it doesn't affect you since that's what you were there for anyway. But while you're filling up you become amused at everyone else complaining that they have to pay "all this extra money" for premium to run their cars and generators.

every time, without exception.

also when you come out to your car and there's some riced out pos parked next to you like it belongs there. my favorite recent example is a black pt cruiser with chrome lined...everything... and a hood scoop, fart can, spoiler, and crappy chrome wheels. wasn't even the turbo model. of course my first thought is "oh, great..."

ah well. I'd rather have some riced out pos that someone loves and cares for than some old woman who doesn't give a single **** about her car, let alone anyone else's.

Yea, I'd say its worth keeping a close eye on...

I can run a full session at the track without noticing any oil loss. That's 90 miles each way with about 110 miles on track.

^^^ This! I normally drive pretty conservative with the girl in the car, but the other day I decided to do a hard 2nd gear pull. Her response: "do that again!" hahaha

I check at every fill and I burn a little less than a quart every 3k miles. This was my second autocross.

Back on topic.. I was driving down a 2 lane road today, windows down, loving the new mods, just swapped to an apexi exhaust (omg) and new wheels over the weekend and as I'm passing a random hatchback loaded down 4 people deep this teenager leans his upper body out of the window and screams "I love your f***ing car!"

You know you drive a wrx when a Honda civic pulls up next to you at a light.

This conversation follows.

Ricer boy: Hey that an Sti?

Me: No just a wrx.

Ricer boy rolls up window and gives me the lets race face.

I spotted a cop sitting in the parking lot up ahead and decided to let him do his job.

River boy revs engine and even jumps the gun and goes through the still red light.

Cop pulls him over shortly after and as I pull by I give him a rev or two and I see the cop laughing.

P.S. this was in my hometown in which I have become quite notorious with the police.
