This ideology has never been one I've shared...IMO
Outlet stores and online retailers actually give huge discounts, especially the latter lately as they push "cyber monday" to become a known event.

I just got out of the retail industry (thank god) and can say with confidence that you get a pretty significant spread of savings if you don't go for obvious stores.

Funny thing is I hate shopping- I also bought nothing on these two days

I ordered RCE front and rear swaybar set for my birthday/xmas gift from my girlfriend from Rallysportdirect.com. When I ordered it, it said in stock. After 2 days of not getting shipping information, I contacted them via live chat to find out it was on back order. I email them in a "non-flipping-out" manor only to get a "South Park styled 'We're sorry'" from them. Definitely not impressed shopping with them for the first time. Don't think I will be using them anymore.
