To those bitching on the STi fenders, take off the flare, take a roller or hammer, grind the inner spot welds down, and finish.

Problem solved

That's definitely a thought.

It took me long enough to find the perfect STI for me, I'm very cautious with permanent changes I make to the car

Its good though however to work with someone who's done fenders or specifically STi rears. But if you take your take with the hammer or roller you'll do some good work. Who cares if it looks like ass under there so long as the flare covers it and it doesn't rust

Yeah, this is true. I'm still looking around for some other shops closer to me. 3hrs away is the closest I've found other than IAG

Yeah, pretty ****ty.

Hopefully I bump into someone nearby with some experience. I'd love to go with either a meaty setup or real low on 17x9 wheels.

You guys are insane. I have a Eastwood fender roller I rent out for $30 a day with a heatgun included. Only problem is I don't know if you're in my area. I'm located in Portland, OR - Vancouver, WA.

I'm sure you can find a guy on Craigslist or on the east coast forum section that will rent out his fender roller to you for $30-50 a day.

There is a thread on here I think from JNA out of Long Island NY. For $50 plus a refundable deposit they will ship you the roller anywhere and you can do it your self. Get or borrow a cheap heat gun so you don't crack the paint. And those over fenders should just pop off. I put the oem over fenders in my bug and after drilling the holes they just snap on. Just get yourself some new 3m tape to replace the old when you take them off (that is if you even have to take them off. You aren't rolling that much of then fender anyways.

Okay so I need some thoughts:

XXR is coming out with the 530 in 19x10.75 +20

Would this even fit a GR STI on BC BR Coils?? I am assuming the answer is no, unless i had crazy camber set up with new control arms. (fenders are rolled)

Stock wheel size is 18x8.5 +55. The difference in offset is 35mm (1.38"). Adding the wheel differences (width) gives you 3.63", or 1.815" wider on each side.

I'm going on a (short) limb here, but I'm guessing no. +20 is too far out to push a wheel that size.
