Had a nice random hangout with your old wrx the other day Jason

Jeff I would like to know what you come up with as I have the same issue being the windows not tails are tinted (yeah I know put down the side window when backing up, but would prefer a brighter light)

I tried the tailight covers with the holes in them. I didn't see a noticable gain in performance so I went with overlays.

Tail lights aren't "tinted" with vht nightshades or anything. I just went with a red overlay for the turns and a light smoke for the reverse ( I hate chrome )
Thinking the v3 tritons from VLED might be a good idea but $75 is a joke for bulbs.. Regardless if they say it puts out 600 lumen... I'm gonna see if they'll send me a set pro bono if I do a video review on them for my youtube channel hehe, It worked before

Solar power is stoopid and will always be because Obama supported it! No wonder his redistributed bailout didn't work for that one solar company that I can't think the name of right now.

A co-worker sent me this at work today... Jeremey and Tom, now do you understand the kind of bat**** crazy Republicans I have to deal with on a daily basis?

That actually makes me a little happy that I didn't get up to the meet. That is the last thing I would have wanted to talk about, been talking about this craziness way to much recently.

wtf, how is that unsurprising? I don't think I've ever seen 3 people at a meet agree on anything.

well even if you sit the same redneck, nerd, hillbilly and furrner friends that have a similar interest at a table, often the same table, over and over, once a month and on the internet for 5+ years, the ones that still talk, will probably agree on things. next time it's only so few of us, we should at least make one long table to mix it up a bit.

How do you remove the 12v outlet receptacle on a 2004 Impreza? Anyone got any pictures?

breakiron- redneck
jesse - hillbilly
jeremy - hillbilly
jason - furrner
shek - nerd

and the girls are normal, rational humans, so they don't count.

shek is yours not working? there's a disc fuse in the back(that i blew on Pauls, haha) that you can solder solid but IIRC they clip in.

well, that takes the fun out of it, I said I want to guess, not you tell me. Also, I think Tom is a hybrid rednerd and you are not giving yourself the due nerdcred.

I'll let the others defend themselves.

I do like how you separated redneck and hillbilly. I've no problem with this taxonomy.

Yes Jason blew my fuse on the 12v cig lighter. I don't remember it being hard to repair and I think it either Clips in or screws in with a ring on the back side.

I googled "furrner" and got nothing. Care to elaborate Jason?

Dude, i'm much more of a furrner than you! Maybe furrnerd is more appropriate?

I just need to know how to physically uninstall it from the dash. Pulling/twisting ,in case it just clipped or screwed in, didn't work.

So I have to remove this thing? Or just those two screws holding on the ash tray rail?

Yeah, it is too much work. Removing a damn 12V outlet should not be this intrusive.
