maybe someone can point me in the right direction here. i have the factory bars with inno med fairing, one of the 'finger nuts?' loosened up and fell off during my travels and is now gone. It's one of the nuts that hold the clamp arms onto the fairing itself(actually the other two were somewhat loose also, so others may want to inspect periodically) but they're all the same throughout the system.. I found a wing-nut that will suffice in the meantime but would like to get an original one to put back on there. Anyone know where to find one? i already looked one ORS as well as inno's website but came up with nothing, thanks in advance

How long do you usually leave your racks on? I had mine on for a week and a half and it messed up my window rubber things. Where clips hook on...

I just put my rack system back on yesterday and i noticed that too when i was double checking everything. Theyve been in storage since last winter and haven't been touched but they do tend to loosen up quite a bit. Definitely have to check them periodically.

OEM visor? or other aftermarket ?

Is it pretty straight forward mod? Is there any extra wind noise with the visor cut-outs, when the rack isnt being used?

they are just the BaysonR visors that i took a dremel to. i'll try to get pics soon.
pretty straight forward for the most part, i just measured barely enough clearance for the hooks to clear the visors.

overall same windnoise as a normal visor, but rain will drip by those cutouts. i plan on modding it a little more where i can create a small barrier to reduce the rain from slippin through.

finally bit the bullet and got a full yakima setup for my hatch, nice to put a muddy bike outside the car for a change. I clinched the cheeks going under the first few overpasses though not used to having something on the roof.

I have a 2011 wrx sedan. I'm looking to buy the oem roof rack to haul a kayak but can't seem to find its weight limit capacity. The kayak is about 14ft long and weight about 60lbs. Some mentioned it flimsy. I'm looking for long trips and occasional 2 kayak trip. If I have to fork out extra money for safety and reliability. I'm going with Inno seems budget friendly http://www.orsracksdirect.com/2011-s...s-fairing.html. Anyone with pics or experience hauling a kayak on the oem rack ? Thanks

I have no issues, but those kayaks are a little lighter than 60lbs, and the roof rack seems perfectly fine to me.

First thing, beautiful Hatch!

Second thing, I ordered the OEM roofrack for my 13 scoob... I was thinking about getting Yakima Bowdown... Heard anything about these racks? I'll be hulling two yaks.

I ordered some cheap ones on eBay and picked up better straps and haven't had any issues. I also fixed the bottom part of the bracket because The bars are a weird shape.

You probably have about 100lbs give or take on that roof rack with the 2 kayaks and kayak rack. No issues with long trip or rack feet getting loose ? How long have you been using them ?

Won a $250 gift code from ORS for submitting a review a few months ago. Yakima Load Warrior is on its way.
