Default LOOKING FOR JDM short blocks

I have an 03 wrx and im in the middle of a build. Everyone know the USDM block is no foundation for goals of reaching 300+ hp because its an open deck. The place doing my build recommended either a jdm 2.0 or a usdm 2.5 because they are semi closed. I've been looking every where and something that was suppose to be a budget build is turning into a bank account monster. Obviously building a usdm 2.0 would be kind of "silly" so im open ears for advice, help, where to look, price range. ive had some help from a friend already and he put me in the right direction. Looking for some more knowledge!

lots of junkers

Find a usdm EJ22t out of a 90-94 Legacy turbo if a fully closed deck block is what you really want. They have oil squirters too to cool the pistons.

What "everyone" knows about open deck blocks may not be true either, so do some research before you commit.

I've been holding over 300 in my open deck 2.0L since you were in high school. What is the problem?

We have an entire vendor for sale forum, go there and look if you are interested in parts of any kind.

Yes because open deck engines are weak.

Research first.

Oh no! I hope my 300+ WHP doesn't blow my deck away!
