OMGHi2U Custom Fabbing APS a Replacement hose

Dear Customs Fabrication Guru's,

I have the great APS DR725 & I tore a hole in the hose from Turbo to FMIC piping.

I have one quote for $225 to make this out of metal and just put 2 silicone hoses at each end.

Questions

Can you Guru's give me some light on what I should pay?

Opinion better solution Silicone vs metal?

Heck these parts are no longer manufactured Maybe someone wants to make a few and resell?

Cheers,

Chuck III

aps piping is steel, just extend the pipe to reach the other one and put a normal silicon coupler on it.

You don't know what I'm talking about

To do that would be more impossible to do

$225 is a fair price if you trust that the fabricator will give the quality you want. It would be about a 3hr project+materials.

I have a 525 kit but when mine tore where it goes into the fender I just bought a long straight silicone coupler a 45* universal aluminum intercooler pipe and a silicone hump hose and made it myself.
If you do pay someone make sure to use a hump hose to allow some flex since all hard pipe will be hard on couplers if you don't give it anywhere to move
