Default Brand New Impreza got hit. Could use your help.

Hello All,

Up until 2 days ago, I was the proud owner of a brand-spankin'-new 2013 Impreza sport limited. Then, I got hit. It was a tad snowy and another car lost control on the freeway, and slammed into my passenger side rear door at about 50-60 mph. This spun me around twice and sent me into the ditch dividing west and eastbound traffic where I hit and then dragged along the dividing fence for a few feet.

The car had 506 miles on it and was 7 days old.

Now, I have to deal with the insurance company tomorrow. In your opinion, is this totaled? I paid around 24k for this car (including tax/title) and am hoping to god that they call it totaled. I'm pretty aware that frame damage on this scale can never really be rapaired perfectly, and more than anything else, this car has taken a killing in resale value if they manage to fix it.

Your opinions/advice would is greatly appreciated...

We do not do estimates here. Wait for what the shop says as that's what matters, not people on the internet.
