Anyone know someone selling some 5x100 BBS's? The STI multi-spoke ones or something like that..

Really ask yourself how bad you want a set of 8 year old used wheels, because, it seems like everyone that owns them feels they are about 1/3 of the value of the car.

Got a cat section off of an 05 RS and noticed today while changing my oil that the rear O2 sensor on my 00 RS is after the 2nd cat. on the section i bought the O2 sensor is just behind the 1st cat. the good thing is i have more than enough wire to hook it up. but will this cause a check engine light since only one cat is before the O2 sensor? Anyone done this type of change before?

He wasn't talking about as age much as he was talkin age vs money. Most people try to sell 5x100 bbs wheels In good condition for 1000-1500 a set, a lot of others have a problem with this as they think a stock wheel should be cheaper, forget the fact that If you buy a new one from subaru they are over 850 a wheel.

It's not a problem, it's a free market. It's a matter of if you find it to be a good value or not. They are 17x7.5 inch wheels that, at this point are 10 years old, so, it's going to be hard to find them in great shape.

And let's cut the nonsense of judging something by the price you would pay retail at a dealer to replace it, you know better then that.

The price is determined by the manufacturer, BBS decided that there forge wheels are worth X so a dealer sells them for y% over x to make profit and keep in business. Look up what a set of BBS forged LM's sell for new. You will be surprised. Good wheels are not cheap and the STi bbs is a good wheel.

Or you could weld in a bung for it.

If you throw a cat code use a spacer to move the o2 sensor further out. If that doesn't work, then do like I did your mom plug it and bung it

I belive through 07 there was no difference, not sure if that has changed, so I ask the question, is there a difference between wrx and sti DPs that you are looking for? Might be a lot easier to locate if your expand your search by that much.

Got an exhaust question for people smarter than me.

My car has a Tsudo S2 Cat-Back Exhaust (I think) on it. The mid-pipe and tail pipe (muffler) are both Tsudo. I bought a Nameless axleback exhaust thinking the mid-pipe was stock. The Tsudo mid and Nameless axleback aren't even close to compatible. Even took it to Monroe to see if they could bend a pipe and no dice because the angles are too extreme and the pipe is 3" and their machine couldn't bend something that would work. Should I save myself the trouble of going to various muffler shops and get a stock (or nameless) mid-pipe or do you think I can find someone to do some custom fabrication work?

btw I ordered the Nameless axleback before I knew Moore was in Pittsburgh or I would have gone with you guys (sorry).

I'm in greensburg all the time, work there, and I've never seen a silver STi with lime green wheels. Saw a newer blue WRX hatch on Donohoe, and waved. I thought you were my friend though, because I stopped waving to WRX/STi drivers (no love back, ever).

Also, good friend of mine grabbed a black 07 STi recently (his wife drives a '12 STi sedan). Stg2 protune, Bilstein PSS9 coils, OZ wheels and light tint. Got it somewhere in Pittsburgh last week. Anyone know the previous owner?
