Nothing special, but mine are outside of the car for now.

While I'm sure the ORT guys know they're stuff, and all my VW guys run lines outside their car, it just seems like it would be more prone to cutting. I ran my lines inside. Through the trunk, under the back seats, and down the running board under the carpet. Bunch em all up and you're good. |

The thing you need to understand is that ORT had no part in installing the kit on my car. My car was used by Air Lift themselves for prototyping this kit for all others to enjoy. Air Lift did the install and I've been testing the kit ever since. Long term, sure I'd feel more comfortable with the lines inside the car! The only part ORT had in this project is helping facilitate a way to push Air Lift to produce the kit sooner. |

If you look at OCDPVW's install (which, we didn't do) they're run outside the car. Corey has MORE MILES than ANYONE on the GR setup guaranteed. That car is driven longer, harder and faster than anyone out there and I'm willing to stake money on that. The car made it from Indiana to Ocean City Maryland and back with no issues. And yes, we do know our stuff. We've been around longer than most air suspension retailers in the import scene, including bagriders |

This is very true. I have 20K+ miles on this kit without any issues whatsoever. I've tracked the car, showed the car, and I daily drive it. I'm not saying that one's lines wouldn't be safe inside the car and I do get the theory of the lines will be safer, but until I have an issue mine will stay outside. ORT has been a great to me as well with any and all questions air related. I know that if I do have an issue ORT will be there to assist.

Jeez, I didn't know you were at 20k, Corey! Time to get Kate an LGT for the upcoming addition to the family so you can drive her WRX daily!

The way I see it, if you do have a leak in a line or something goes wrong do you really feel like pulling panels to replace it. Especially if you have to make a quick fix. My VW was ran down the frame rails and never had an issue with them like that. However, Im personally undecided how I want to run my lines to the front.

Yes, it is hard to believe that we'll be having a little one running around soon. I'd love to take over the wife's WRX and build mine up even more. Just a shame the LGT is no longer.

No reason you can't find a mint used car, but we both know Kate would NEVER spring for that

I ran my lines in my sti inside but probably will run them outside this time around for the brz. As long as your protect the line and install it correct you won't have any issues.

Got a package from BAGRIDERS on wednesday.
Spent about 6 total hours on the install yesterday. Ill be redoing the entire trunk in the next couple months. Im running the autopilot V2 management and ran the 3/8 lines inside the car. Still have some fine tuning to do and take it in for toe alignment but she lays down very nicely. The wheels are Klutch Republic SL14, I just got these mounted also. Still haven't seen a 08-10 wrx sedan (narrow body) bagged yet. Wondering if I am the first. Sorry about the ****ty pics..more to come after I fine tune everything and the weather shapes up. |

I swear dude Kevin's car over everything.
Why did you guys even make a bag kit- got it right the first time. Oh and for the record wayyyyy up at the top of the page, I didn't mean to discredit running lines outside the car (or associate companies and people wrongly), you guys know infinitely more about air stuff than I do, so if you say it's good- it's good! |
