Default Question regarding speaker installation

Well, I started my audio project on my WRX. I just have a quick question regarding the speaker installation.

I bought an independent amp solely for the speakers(fronts/rears). Question is, do I ditch the factory plugs that was in the stock speakers/tweeters? Since I have an amp for just the speakers do I trace new wires from the amp(in trunk) to the speakers/tweeters at the doors?

So to make sure I got it correct, this will be the way I connect everything:

Sub amp connects to Sub
Speaker amp connects to all 4 speakers(fronts are component)
Sub amp & Speaker amp connects together via "remote"?
Head unit connects to either amp(remote also)?
Battery wire(4awg)splits off to the ground/power for both amps
Ditch the stock speaker connectors in doors

Please let me know if you think there is a fault in the direction I will be connecting everything. If you need additional information let me know. Thanks again for any and all help.
