Default Exhaust Gas question

When a car is experiencing full boost does the majority of the exhaust gas exit through the wastegate?

The internal wastegate is roughly the size of a quater. So think about it..

What MAF? -Speed Density!

If you unhook your WG actuator and let the flapper hang open you make no positive pressure so during full boost it can't be opening very far or you would loose a ton of pressure.

The wastegate's function is to limit boost by bypassing the turbine and thus slowing the turbo's rotation.
