I've been thinking about adding a little bit of Chip Foose type of flair to my engine bay this spring... here's a pic where I'm picking up a little bit of inspiration

I think I'll be busing the TMBLER out of the neighbors garage and back out on the road next weekend. Should be warm enough for the summer tires, and I can get started on some of the clean-up/painting work

Finally got the car back out on the road. There's some work to be done, but at least it's back home. Getting the COBB AccessPort speed density tune in a couple of weeks.

I'm hoping to be able to tighten up the engine bay a little more as well to get some better symmetry. This should give me the look that I want without having to do a bunch of extra work with some crazy panels.

I was able to get the headlights working again.. turned out to be some corroded connectors. Little bit of filing and sandpaper fixed them right up

I managed to spend about 3 hours of blocking out the car... I'm trying to finish the job I started at the end of last summer. Need to get this bad boy into paint, and that COBB AccessPort speed density tune

Same textured DIY.. Would love to paint the car white, but don't want to spend the funds right now

They're WRX fuel rails, but new adapter pieces needed to be machined to make them fit.

Are you filling the space between wide body and floor when door is open? Like how Tino did it?

The back door. Between the wide body and standard body when the door is open.

The lip or the bumper.. the bumper is the one that comes with the widebody.. It has a carbon fiber bottom part of the bumper.

So, silly question I've been meaning to ask all these years - how to do you access the strut top mounts to remove the struts (if need be?) since you have the whole thing, what looks like welded off.

They're just covers that bolt in-place. One bolt on the strut tower, and then it uses the same holes as the fender bolts

Think of them like a false floor

That is one of the older DIY rubber lips that were being sold. Not the garage door trim, but more of a weather stripping for cars
