2009 Wrx front bumper options
My friend is wondering what are some options for him if he wanted to switch out his bumper with something that has aftermarket lip support
will a newer wrx hatch front bumper fit his 09 sedan? any info you can share will help.

What do you mean by newer WRX hatch? Are you talking 2011+ widebody bumpers? If so, then no, they won't fit. I believe all 08-10 WRX/2.5i bumpers are interchangeable regardless of sedan or hatch, but widebody and non-widebody bumpers are not interchangeable.

If you want to shell out extra money for the additional fenders needed then I'd say go for it. If your short on cash then just get an oem replacement, their like $300 shipped to your local stealership. |

Wouldn't that look silly with a wide front and narrow rear? |

he wants an "aftermarket" bumper? why? why not just get a lip for the oem bumper and call it a day?
there are aftermarket bumpers available... just google it. they are fairly pricey, generally come unpainted, and usually don't as well as oem pieces. and IMO, are pretty hideously styled. |

"switch out his bumper" ?? theres plenty of lips that fit theoem 09 sedan bumper- no need for a different bumper.

Albiro by Liberal is very pricey/rare but pretty awesome. One guy on here has it. Permits you to fit v-limited if I'm not mistaken as well.
