Default Unable to pull ROM, possible unmarried AP?

2005 STi

Hi, I am unable to pull the ROM of my 2005 STi just purchased. I believe the car has a AP that was un-married by a previous owner. Here is my connect log:

[23:49:18.035] kernel get version
[23:49:18.409] SSM2 init
[23:49:18.565] SSM2 ECU ID is 3D12594006
[23:49:18.643] Requesting Seed...
[23:49:18.705] Sending Key...
[23:49:18.752] interface close
[23:49:18.752] interface close
Does this look like a correct diagnosis?
