Wgmg:

Parents who buy their child another 75k+ M3 after he crashes the first one when trying to drift..

Now, if I had the money to blow I'd probably do the first one (again I'm talking high 6figs a year), but after the little idiot crashed it, he's working for his next 1999 Ford Explorer.

Yep thats exactly what was going through my head when I learned about what that kid did. I'd be ashamed at myself if I wrapped my 70k car around a pole and got a new one like it was nothing. Damn shame

Remember one thing.

And I explained this to Chano when he was hesitant in selling his WRX.

It's not the vehicle, it's the driver. M3, WRX, Geo Metro. An irresponsible driver will get wrapped around a pole no matter which car they go with.

In this case the insurance probably covered damages, so no problem for them.

And I wound up being correct about that kid that bought my WRX. The dad and the son were seen abusing it and pieces were missing off the bumper. *facepalm* The mom and stepdad were super nice, too.

See though the dad as well. Doesn't matter the age many times. Bad drivers are a dime a dozen.

WGMG: Inconsiderate people who decide that their need to watch the fireworks trumps your ability to park your car. There's one access road to get into where I live, and this whole family in their van parks it squarely in the road so that no one can get in or out. I do the nice thing and get out of my car, and ask them nicely to move so I can actually get in. They just nod and say "Yeah, sure sure." and do nothing. Sooooo tempted to call a wrecker or the cops, but I don't like tying up resources when not truly needed.

WGMG - That douchebag in an old class-c motorhome.

Picture this -- Class-C motorhome cruising down the Glenn; hitch-hauler on the rear (at exhaust level); has two dog crates on hitch-hauler; yep, you guessed it, dogs in kennels.

We have some real ****ing idiots in this state.

I guess they want to take the dog for a drag?

Pretty sad, they'll probably have to learn the hard way***8230;.just like the horse carrier who drove through Canada in ***8722;40 degree temps with no blankets on the animals in an open horse trailer a few years back.

Wow, both of those are ****ty stories to hear about.

With a Class-C motorhome, is there not room IN the motorhome for pets? Kind of the whole point of one right? Maybe I care too much for my animals... hell, my dog has a Car seat cover for him to ride in the Audi.

It was a shorty version. Maybe they didn't want the dogs exposed to their mobile Meth Lab.

People who borrow tools, break/damage them, return them when you're not around and don't tell you... "Did you really think I wouldn't notice the 6" of electrical tape wrapped around the power cord of my grinder?!?!"

People are awesome...

Sitting here getting Sayrah's tires changed over, watching CNN's coverage of the 777 crash. How unbelievably inept and useless the media is... Scruffy McBlitzer's dumb ass just asking the same stupid questions over and over again and just continually spewing the same information and speculation for the last hour. IF YOU DON'T KNOW SOMETHING SHUT THE **** UP UNTIL YOU DO.

Unfortunately that is the truth. Seems when anything happens these days, it is less "news", and more theories and speculation by so called "specialists" the news has on as guests speakers.

WGMG: Enjoying the sound of a Ferrari 355 doing a drive by while cruising down Minnesota, shortly interrupted by the sound of a green 2nd gen exhaustless integra trying to chase/play keep up while recording/taking pictures with his iPhone.

Natural selection seems to have missed a few candidates...

A soldier is fighting his upcoming deployment to Afghanistan using a military regulation that allows soldiers against war to not have to fight.

The Army is still planning to send Private Second Class Christopher Munoz, 22, to Afghanistan despite legal efforts from the soldier where he has stated his personal objections to going to war.

Munoz could not give an interview on his case given his current status in the Army.

He is looking to be discharged from the Army based on what is known as conscientious objection, where soldiers can apply to be removed from deployment based on religious beliefs or personal moral convictions opposing all war.

Munoz applied for a C.O. discharge on June 25, 2013, but the process can take anywhere from 6 to 8 months to complete.

Munoz is scheduled to deploy within the next week even though he has made it clear to his commanders that he is not willing to go to war.

Munoz's wife, Breanna, says that he joined the Army to provide for his family including his 3-year-old daughter, Julissa, and that after his basic training ended in April, his beliefs and attitude toward the idea of being in combat completely changed.

"After he got out of basic, once I was able to start talking to him again, he just seemed really different and had a different attitude about the army and everything versus when he went in, and, once he got here, we found out that he was going to be deployed and everything just kind of got more real, and he just felt like he couldn't do it," Breanna said.

Breanna says that all she wants now is for her husband to be allowed to be let go by the Army, and that she hopes his story can bring awareness to those soldiers who are opposed to fighting in war.

"If he does end up coming home during the deployment, it kind of brings awareness to the other soldiers who don't want to go or who also have the same war inside them to be able to come forward and actually say it, and do something about it," Breanna said.

Lieutenant Colonel Kirk Luedeke of Fort Hood's 1st Cavalry Division says he cannot go into the details of Munoz's case, but that it is still under review.

"The chain of command is aware of his request and is working to process the request, consider it, and take action and render a decision," Luedeke said.

Munoz is being supported by multiple war-resistant groups, and an online petition has been set up to show him support with that petition currently having 164 signatures.

^^^ Bah...I say, let him go before he gets someone killed.

BUT, he "volunteered" to join the Army so his CO request my not fly. It's not like he was drafted or forced in some way.

Yes there are but that isn't a guarantee that you won't get deployed

Even if you do get deployed most Air Force stays behind the wire unless your in that select few IE PJ's, EOD, SF, TacP been deployed 3 times so far never once was in a fight. Did get bombed a couple of times. As for army I think there a soldier first then your MOS this is what was told to me by Close army friends. Honestly I think they should kick him out and strip him of any rights that comes with joining the military. Medical, dental, paycheck, the GI Bill for sure lots of talk going on about him possibly being ably to keep it if his CO goes through. I do t think its right at all he has not earned a dam thing.

Just my .2 cents !
