Default Suspension Options for new Sport

Hey guys,

Got off the forum for a little while when I ended up getting another daily and my Girlfriend took over on my wagon. Being that she drives the wagon for the daily now, not much progress has been done to it since. She has said recently that she'd like to do a couple things to it though, and suspension was one. The car already has aftermarket wheels on it, so a little drop would really move it along. Now, I remember when I first got the car, there were little options. The H&R's and Eibach's were in development forever, and the RSR's had just been released in spring and coilover variants. However, about a week ago, I did a little searching, and it sounds like a few members with "new" Impreza's have found that the 08+ WRX coilovers are a direct bolt-on for the 12+ 2.0's. Is there any truth to this? I didn't want to buy something simply on Internet heresay. I'd love to get the 08+ WRX coil overs as they can be had more readily and cheaper than something packaged "for" our cars. It doesn't need to be any kind of $2,000 setup, more than likely just some Raceland's and then go from there. The wheels look good on the car, but the wheel gap is a bit much. I'm not looking to go "mad tyte stances, y0", but just adjusted to a clean drop while remaining functional.

I look forward to any help and input. Thanks!
