Default CVs and axle length

On any of the Subies, are the front and rear axles interchangable? Same CV joints? Same axle lengths? I have a "little" project in the works and would like to know if I can swap the front spindles/ axles with the rear hubs/ axles. Yes, it sounds like I want to do a rear steer, but actually, I want to make it rear engine, all wheel drive. If it changes the front/ rear track and I'll be ditching the struts. Going full-custom on this project. Thanks!
