Default AP V3 feedback

Not sure this is the right forum for this discussion, but here goes anyways:

Overall the AP V3 is a huge improvement over the V2. It's easier to use and exposes a lot more information at the same time. It's great. The addition of the carrying case, dashboard holder, better multi-pin connector, larger display, etc. - all wonderful.

However, a couple of features that were present on the V2 aren't on the V3:

* Fuel efficiency calculator
I used this extensively to monitor my driving style and the removal of the trip efficiency calculator (it's not economy as it doesn't factor in cost ) is a little bit of a let-down. Are there plans to bring this feature back in later releases of the V3 firmware?

* Live data list
The addition of the gauges screen is *great* and super useful. However, if I want to quickly check a parameter I have to configure one of the gauges to look at it rather than just quickly bringing up that parameter like in the live data list on the V2 unit. I like to check certain 'count'-type parameters before shutting off the engine (like cylinder knock events or (I know they're not counts) the A/B/C/D fuel trims) that I wouldn't necessarily want to have on a gauge full-time. If that feature could be brought back in a future release I'd appreciate it as well.

Cobb - keep up the good work. If you could relay this feedback to the developers that'd be awesome. As always, Excellent product!
