Default 2.2 swap into 2001 rs

I have a 2001 RS-T and i blew the rings in my motor. I am kind of tight on cash and need transportation I really want to get a nice set of pistons and a nice set of rods and rebuild the whole thing but I just don't have the money. I work at a subaru dealership and i can get a 2.2 rebuilt short block from Subaru for $1,300. I would use the stock 2.5 heads and i am using a Turbo set up out of a WRX. Will everything bolt right up? How much power are the components capable of? Has anyone done this before? I am looking for known inormation only no speculation.
