Just FYI to the OP: Once a car seat has been in an accident while buckled in it is garbage. They have a bunch of engineering features that are designed to fail only once. Make sure you throw that car seat in a dumpster.

How would the car seat know the car was in an accident?

Are we talking about a child car seat, or the front drivers seat?

Congratulations on the new car you weaseled out of them.

But you've got a lot of work to do, and should start on it immediately.

Amazing car seat lol. But op I wouldn't take ANYTHING down until you have a 2015 wrx in your driveway. These people are obviously shady, and this guy really seems like he wants the last laugh. Good luck with everything tomorrow I hope it all works out.

Car seats are designed to protect down to a <5lb newborn, all of the crash features are used on the seat even if there is no occupant.

Just because Annihilator817 is a jackass, does not mean that he is not right on some accounts.

I agree with this. The second you do leave with a new car though, you should notify all of these sites that they replaced it for you.
