Opening up the exhaust before the catback is what really makes it loud. Mine has a simple "stage 2" protune with a catted DP and it rattles windows on a cold start. Add a header/uppipe and it's wake the dead loud.

Even though this is the '15 exhaust thread, I'd like to hear a clip of your exhaust

In other news, I'm still waiting to decide what to go with. I'm beyond fed up waiting on Cobb, and may put in for an ETS or nameless (depending on lead times) CBE. My dad was like "Just get it shipped to the house, and then I'll drive down to you in May."

I do like the customer interaction that ETS has with people on the facebook page. Usually Michael will chime in every time someone mentions their new goodie they got from them, which is cool.

Does that fit directly onto the stock midpipe?

Good afternoon all,

Have a quick question that I figured this topic would be suitable. I have the STI Performance Exhaust on my '15. It's riding pretty low compared to some of the other aftermarket exhaust systems I've seen here. The question:

How does one adjust the height/drop of the exhaust? I haven't had much experience, but am willing to get under there to tighten it up if its possible. What am I looking for?

Hard to tell in this pic, but it's all I have at this moment. If you can see, I'd like to raise it up a few inches. It's not terrible, but it could look a whole lot better.

Thanks for your help all! Have a good weekend,

I've seen a few posts where members use clamps to reduce the sag on the donuts. Try searching feature where a member posted pictures and instructions on how to do it. Might help. Good luck!

Loosen the axle back bolts, spray wd-40 on the hangers, and you can adjust the height by sliding the metal rods fwd/aft in the hangers. It's a bitch but it can be adjusted.

What are anyone opinion on the tsudo cbe vs invidia n1. I enjoy both sounds and are somewhat similar priced (tsudo is cheaper). I was wondering if anyone knew anything about possible quality or any pros or cons of both exhausts.

From what people say, the tsudo is barely louder than stock. I was going to get that as well until i heard people saying that. The N1 is pretty damn loud.

Remember that there are 3 versions of the Invidia N1 exhaust. The single edit race exhaust which is not resonated, the Invidia N1 Street which is resonated, and the Invidia N1 Dual muffler which is also resonated.

The resonated versions are from what I understand a tad bit louder than the Q300. The race version however will make your ears bleed. I'll be more than likely going with the N1 street version single exit myself.

Anyone here running the Perrin resonated catback? I'm thinking about switching my order from a Q300 to this. I heard the Perrin is slightly louder and the Q300 is barely louder than stock on the STI.

I think you've got the two reversed downshift. The q300 is louder IMO

I was going to get the q300, but I heard it in person, and it isn't much louder than stock.
Considering the n1 dual tip now.
If anyone is in the Seattle area with this on a 15wrx, id love to meet up for an audio sample. Beers on me for your time of course

Default 2015 WRX/ STi exhaust options

I have a Perrin resonated cat back with the mishimoto catted J pipe. Unit sounds good, stock was probably perfect but with the J pipe it gets a bit loud at times when on the throttle. I highly recommend the Perrin set up.

Save the blowtorch for a zombiepocalypse! hahahaha

Here is link to post on other forum I mentioned before. Cheap/Easy fix if you are in a hurry or don't want to mod hangers.

Simply fix with clamps.
